While perhaps not yet the latest savious of pop that many musos are describing them as, in terms of raw potential there are plenty of sparks.
As the band power their way through early hits Firestarter and Breathe, scenes of delirious mayhem ensue.
Feeling a tiny bit better today, although on the whole I'm more bunged up than the pair of reprobates in Elbow's tale of horse race-fixing n'er-do-wells The Fix.
Chris is hoping for the inclusion of Race For The Prize in the encore, but is left disappointed. “Perhaps they’ll play it in 2012,” he says optimistically.
Well and truly, Mr Rascal here has proved himself a worthy headliner of the modern era.
